    Anyone know any history about this cue and case, the cue reads guide dogs for the blind

    hi andy there were a few different ones knocking about,they did this one ,help the spastics believe it or not and another i forget what it was called,made to aid the charities it described 1950- 1960 s

      The cues were made by Peradon in the 1940s - 1950s , to raise money for the Guide Dogs For The Blind Association. They are often Ebony with Padauk front splice , as yours appears to be with various timbers used for the shaft , the most common being ash but I have seen hornbeam.They are often good playing cues and sometimes reach three figures depending on condition.Your example looks like a presentation for a former player.Hope this helps, Andy.
