Rubber Tips

They're back on ebay, from Oz for snooker and pool, this time without the screw in bit, just a plain synthetic rubber tip. I asked the seller how they compared to leather tips and he said he liked them but some folk didn't. Helpful that. Anyone else used them and if so, how do they play?

I've seen a demo Steve Davis did with a slip-on rubber sleeve with a rubber tip on the end and he got amazing spin with it and of course he was accurate with it but I think these just might work but I wonder how long they would last compared to leather

That was the twister tip masse attachment, was looking into getting one of these a while back but they seem hard to come by.

i have one people can try but you need an american pool cue though - great fun for a hour or so and then everybody agrees you are not allowed to use it!. as for the rubber tips there were several tested out about 10 years ago they didn't take off because they had no feel to them.

ADR! Do you think these silicone jobbies could be good for snooker? Have you tried one?
