Fake John Parris on ebay lol

Badge is awful, woods terrible. Bad splicing compared to early master cue machine splices, and no trace of the purple glue stain as in early cues.
If it is real , buy it, take it to JP and he ll give you double the money he ll burn it so there's no trace of his bad work lol

Don't know if this Parris is a fake, but I won't judge too fast.
I thought that my Hunt&O'Byrne Redplate is a fake, because it was machine spliced and didn't had the "typical" short, thick H&O-joint. But I found an old catalogue here, which showed my cue. Indeed, Redplate were machinespliced ages ago and H&O did use six different styles of joints during the cuemaking history. So I own a genuine H&O and almost threw it away.

To judge the quality of the wood just on pics is also a difficult thing.

                      Cheers

I really hope you're joking..this cue couldnt be more fake if it was made out of plastic.

                          Hi narl,
                          I'm 99,5% sure it's a badly made fake.

0,5% I leave because I'm a scientist and I know that something I have nerver seen nevertheless might exist.

                          Cheers

In the mid to late 80's, I called into a snooker shop in Ashton under Lynne owned by Anthony Bridge. Among his large selection of cues were cues just like the one on ebay with the name John Parris. They cost about £70 to £80 pounds. This cue on ebay is genuine.
