Fake John Parris on ebay lol

That cue is not 80's....... Looks like it was made pretty recently. John Parris did not make that cue guys.... End of !!!

Steve Davis had his cue altered by John Parris in 1987. The cue had a new butt made for it and it was jointed near the the end of the splices. In - I think - 1989 Anthony Bridge started having ash and ebony hand spliced 3/4 cues made for him in Thailand that looked like Steve's. In Anthony's shop, there were boxfulls of these cues upstairs along with John Parris cues like the one on ebay from the same supplier. Dave, you are correct in stating that John Parris did not make that cue you see on ebay. It is NOT -however -a fake! These cues did exist briefly and were before his top of the range stuff you see the pros use. His name may have even been used on these cues without his permission, I don't know. Look at the badge on the listing. That is not an attempt to copy a Parris badge. This what the badges on the cues looked like.
