I certainly agree with picky buyers these, being right in the middle of trying to sell a bunch of cues. I have received so many requests for more pictures of individual cues, 'must show side grain', 'belly of ash shaft', 'closer photo of the tip', 'what is the butt diameter and balance point' (which was already posted for that cue), 'which cues come with extensions?' (already posted), 'what's your email address' (which was posted too). How much for the Aurora? (which one, 1pc or 3/4?), etc., etc.
It's tough to get in any practice time and they are certainly very picky...like when they say 'the grain is not straight enough so I won't be buying'.
OK, enough of a rant!

Maybe does not want the grief of dealing direct with the public .Originally Posted by narl View PostCouldn't blame him with how picky people are over cues these days, it used to be you specified length, weight, tipsize and occasionally butt diamater. Now its all that plus grain pattern, tighntess of grain, having the splices be sub milimetre perfect at the top and bottom.Originally Posted by narl View PostAh yes the balance point, i knew there was something id forgot about.Up the TSF! :snooker:

And now you're making cues! I'll bet you're not snapping any over your knees these days, especially ones you've made yourself!
It sounds like karma to me, you spending hours painstakingly making beautiful cues which are almost works of art (and are to some people I guess)
And besides, I know the only reason I play so bad is I haven't found my 'ONE' cue yet!

I come from Hong Kong and bought 1 brand new Will Hunt green plate in Feburary. As I know, Will has some problems in his hand or shoulder, not sure, that he could not actively participate in actual cue making.
To the question if the cues are wholey hand made by Will, I think the answer is no which actually the same for many other famous cue makers. I believe that Will should have participated in some processes in cue making like wood selection, guidance in tapering......etc to ensure the quality. I think most people here actually want to know which processes have Will involved in the cue making.
I have tried around 20 new Will Hunt cues and also some other famous brands like Dave Coutts, Robin Cook, Trevor White, John Parris, Glover before making the decision. I think Will Hunt cues do have some special characteristics to distinguish them from others. I don't know how to describe in details but maybe the wood selection and tapering making them with good balance and one could easily get used to play with them smoothly with different shots. Apologies for my incompetent English but I believe Will would do whatever he could to ensure his products.
