If I ever bought a cue locally, it would be with Kevin Deroo only. I have visited Kevin's place many times to have a game on his snooker table at home. Kevin often calls me for a game at the club in Richmond where Superman32, myself and a lot of other local snooker elites play. Kevin and I have friendly chats about cue action and more and Kevin always acts like a complete gentlemen with everyone he meets.

I recently purchased a shaft for my Gauthier cue from Kevin and he made it exactly to spec and did a great job. Kevin's knowledge of cue making is second to none in this part of the world.

I don't know about this. But I have never been to his workshop.
I think aurora cues are made in Canada.

I went to Kevin's place many times. And brought many Deroo cues. Kevin is a very kind and nice person.
I have also tried Longbomber's cue with Deroo shaft hit very solid and match the butt perfect.
Kevin some times come down plays at the club. But he lives a little far like 35kms away from the club. And he is got a table at home.
Every time when he comes down he always very happy to answer questions to players at the club and very kind.

Because all the blame will go to "airin" not him if he done something bad.

Search Aurora . You will find a customer from Toronto had a very bad experience dealing with Aurora cue.
The only way he can got his money back is to claim insurance.

I don't know about if cues made in Canada or not. But I have never been to his workshop.
And he couldn't make himself a set of mini butt.
He ask one of my friend in China made him 2 snake wood mini butt and 1 3 inch mini butt back in 2010.
He said his leath broken at the time.
This friend ordered a maple cue from him and waited nearly a year .
Richard didn't reply my friend for quite a while and replied my friend Mark yesterday after the threat pop up.

I think he has other user names on here can watch what's going on. As thepoolcuejunkie disappear for quite sometime.
He can he react so fast if he is not looking at the threat?

I think aurora cues are made in Canada.

I'm pretty sure there is a workshop in Richmond somewhere and I'm also pretty sure both Airin and Richard are real people.

I once asked Airin if he had an old mini-butt lying around which had a crack in it because I wanted to try out a new glue I had come across which seals cracks in wood (called 'Chair Doctor' from Lee Valley. About 2 weeks later I received a bare and cracked mini-butt with the Aurora male pin in it and it looked like mahogany, but I'm no wood expert. Now he would hardly get unfinished mini-butts from anywhere else than his own workshop.

Oh, the 'Chair Doctor' stuff worked great too

This is like the movie "Fight Club" where Brad Pitt is two different and opposite characters.
The bitter taste of poor quality remains long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
