  • Unclevit "C" brand cues

    Helping my friend post
He's thinking of getting a custom cue from unclevit's 'C' brand.
Anyone got one recently and care to share the quality? Thanks!

I got one about 8 months ago and although it was well made, I didn't like the way it played.

Unclevit hasn't really been very active on the Forum recently. He did say last year that he was possibly cutting down on his cue-making activities to concentrate on his other businesses. ( Wives! were giving him hassle!).
If you're still around Suvit please let us know how you are.
PS. I took delivery of a C-brand last year and am still very happy with it.

I have a maple one for sale in my string, very inexpensive, a 3/4-butt with extensions. I was happy with the cue however I had ordered maple shaft as an experiment and I didn't like the hit as I prefer an ash cue

Although mine is maple and I bought it around 6 months ago the quality is excellent. If it fits your friend's specs let him know as it comes with both extensions and I've just dropped the price a little bit further. A lot less than I paid for it but I just can't ccatch on to maple anymore.

One of unclevits ''assistants' sent a fake badged peradon cue to ADR on here (mistake number one) and it was less that good quality (mistake number 2). Pretty sure a refund wasnt forthcoming either (mistake number 3). That kind of put pay to further sales on here really.

I bought mine when they were cheap ( £150 delievered) and it was one from his personal collection apparently. Prices went up and the quality went down it seemed not long after this. No cues have been put up for sale since the ADR episode when at least one or two a month came up via unclevits account on here (kwan i think was posting them up) prior to that.

He is still taking order but maybe in small quantity. My order still in progress since March but I'm in no rush to get a cue from him. So wait for him to get a quality shaft for my cue.

I also got a cue from Unclevit. It is a maple cue that I brought for more or less the same reason as Terry, to see if I could get along with a maple cue. I was extreamly happy with the cue and was playing well with it, untill the ferrule came loose after about 4 months of play. It may be a once off, but i've never had a ferrule come loose on a cue after a short amount of time. There's no one close by that can replace ferrules so I have to wait untill I go down south to get it fixed which might be a while. Love the cue and would buy another, but very dissapointed it needs repairing so soon.

Forgot about that, my ferrule came loose a month or so ago. So the glue's might be a bit iffy. Got my pal at www.bristolcueservice.co.uk to re-glue it.

Butt joint was replaced by mastercraft right when i got it, no problems with that.
