  • Does the Mike Wooldridge BlackspinĀ© really help you with aiming?

    Like the title says..

Can anyone who's been using the blackspin give any feedback.. if this has made it easier to sight when aiming at the cueball in the preliminary stroke?

no..aiming is down to your skill.

my understanding is that the blackspin is to improve structural deficiencies of traditional ferrule technology, and the feel factor.
anything beyond that is a plus.

When I can get the spare cash together I think I'm going to be ordering a cue off him with the BlackSpin. I'm new to ordering cues and I've only come across Mike since coming on TSF so I've never been able to use the VCM. Hopefully when that's up and running I'll make an order through that.

this was talked in original thread

              http://www.thesnookerforum.com/board...Ferrule-System

someone asked about the sighting thing and i said it's easy to stick a piece of black tape round your ferrule and instantly know the answer rather than guessing or worrying.

              btw, it does.

p.s. can everyone please keep all questions/reviews etc. within original thread? makes it so much easier when all the information is one place rather than lots of separates threads talking about the same thing.
