Riley burwat

Hi guys found a Riley burwat cue in my local pool halls cellar and they let me have it
It had been in there for about 5-10 years
It is a lovely cue but it has someone's name and telephone number in it but I was told that the person that had it passed away
I was just wondering if there is any solution to fill the inscription and bring the cue back to its original condition

Hi andy do u know any way of maybe removing or filling it

try rubbing it down with a green scourer what you use for washing pots first a new one not a used one see how it comes out and then have another think

I tried rubbing a glass over it but it only removed it so much

My dad has one of these cues its a 1 piece though. Never heard of iroko before though.

This is my Riley Burwat I think they are from around 1960 ? it is a nice cue but very light in weight the shaft is very dark brown looks like ash !

I think the riley burwat was produced in the 80's along with the riley professional.
