If that was the case then there would be no cues for sale , cues are subjective and we are all individuals so what suits one will not necessarily suit another , and no matter how well the cue is made there is no guarantee you,ll get one with it , but the next person may love it .

Fair enough mate. So how much did these TWs cost new then? I'm not being nosy, I may want to buy a more expensive cue in the future, so I'm gauging prices. I Know what LP cost, excuisite, aurora (eek!), etc. I don't know about TW.

I fully expect the above to show in one of his auctions soon.
So funny. So there is a magic forest, from whom the wood for a snooker cue can pot all balls without fail?

Oh, I thought they'd increased capacity because 2300 wasn't enough?! lol
Anyway, if you had one, you'd have enough torque to pull a caravan. Or maybe a cue trailer, you'd never have to play with a 2 piece ever again. MW could build you a spec trailer for like 20,000 quid. You could ride a bike AND take ALL your cues to a match no problem.

you are being silly narl! I'm fairly sure Fedia would claim the leather for the tip was cut from Shadowfax's arse ... I don't remember Gandhi or his cow appearing in any of the Lord of the Rings films ...

£360 plain cocobolo butt cue and around £450 for the Masur birch cue.

So after all the Fedia bashing on this thread, the OP's mark up percentage is about the same?

It's no wonder I always buy brand new from the manufacturer. There's more bandits here than a Spaghetti Western!!

Does TW still make cues, and if so, is he charging about £400 a cue? Is he on TSF as a member?

Is one right to assume that the sharks are ordering up cues from TW and MW simply to hoard and sell on, because they know that by doing so, they've clogged up the order book and real buyers will have to wait ages, are impatient, and will plump for an onseller at inflated prices to avoid a wait?

Particle Physics - if you did not know "trevs1" is Trevor White the aformentioned TW cuemaker, as far as I know Trevor White is still making cues, so I hazard a guess that the prices quoted in his post are the prices he would charge for the same cues on sale.
                              Up the TSF! :snooker:

Dean, I suspected, but I thought not to assume. Ok, so TW ain't happy with me, nice one particle! The prices he quoted are reasonable. A wee bit above Craftsman but reasonable, and the work looks immaculate on the web pics. With this in mind, why are fold willing to spend £600 for the same cue that can be ordered direct? The wait is it?

Trev1, how long is the wait for a custom cue please? (grovel grovel).
