And the use of there (as in "over there") instead of their (as in "has their car been repaired"), or they're (as in "they're going to the cinema") Hopeless.
shame there isn't a flame pit on this forum, all us old farts could have great fun pointing out all the spelling and grammatical mistakes ... my personal bugbear is "I would/could/should of" instead of "I would/could/should have" although I think I'm reading (after a quick Google) that it's now acceptable ...
it certainly wouldn't have been when I was at school - Mr Bullfrog (or whatever his real name is/was) would've thrown his blackboard duster at me ... specs as follows ...
wood ... oak
length ... 6 inches
balanced ... yes
weight ... heavy
split and splicing ... yes, my head
tip ... pay attention in class and duck
So how many people have owned these cues and thought, ooops, not for me? Obviously, if someone liked them, they wouldn't be for sale, but it seems a lot of money for cues that no-one liked playing with.....
