Very nice. How do choose one over the other to play with?
Thank mate... well to be honest I started collecting cues just about a year ago and I was lucky enough to receive almost all of my cues at different time periods, so It was always like putting a cue aside to try out a new one. Besides the craftsman, stamford and the MW legend which I received recently... I dedicated a significant amount of time (2 - 3 months) playing with each of my other cues trying to find my way with them. I will play another month or two with the Stamford and then try and play with the Legend for the same time period although I fear it doesn't fit me quite as expected so I might spend less time with the legend. The craftsman was good for me in the first couple of weeks but from then on it went really downhill so I don't see myself playing with it anymore... I might keep it for my collection or perhaps sell it if anyone will show interest. Anyways after playing the Stamford and the Legend I will be able to decide on the cue I play best with out of all of them and then just stick to it when playing and keep all the others as a collection. At least this is the plan... the thing is I'm getting two new TW's in November and 2 RC's in April...
Thanks mate. It is without doubt my best playing cue at the moment... feels even better then the TW and the MW burr. It's very very reactive and the long splicing gives it a very good balance. It has quite a stiff shaft so it gives me a hard and solid contact with the cue ball which I love.
I know it's only one more cue added to my collection but I just had to take a new pic of all of them together
To make it interesting I will rank them according to playability. I repeat this is only how they play for me and does not mean I find one cue superior to the other... I respect all the cue makers behind these cues equally
1. JPU Traditional (Only after one day of playing with it!!)
2. TW Macassar
3. Stamford
4. JPU Olivewood
5. MW Burlwood
6. MW Ebony
7. JPU Snakewood
8. Craftsman Pro Ash
By the way, I think I want to sell my Craftsman cue, so if anyone is interested feel free to contact me
