  • Mannock replica

Heres my first attempt at a Mannock replica.
22 inch ebony splices, 16 inch tulip and a front splice of snakewood.
Not a true replica as I have fitted my own badge.
Made for a forum member so not for sale,

I've never liked the mannock-style cues but I must say, that looks very well made.

          Stunning!

If only you could do the pointy machine-spliced look on the ebony splices I'd say that it would look even better than the real thing...

Jim actually supplied the tulip himself.
The tulip was 20 inch lengths but with the Ebony at 22 inch, i made the tulip splice to just touch inside the bottom of the ebony splices, this made the tulip at nearer 15.5inches.

you mean as in that's what it should be, or should i say, the definition of the word replica?

nice work jason, and not taking anything away here, but it's been irritating me for some time when people call these mannock replicas. they are not replicas.

now, find yourself some ebony machine spliced blanks and add the hand splicing and you are closer to a replica.

keep up the good work regardless.

Agreed Mike, it should read a Mannock style cue.
It was never intended to be a replica as I was always going to fit my badge on it.

If its a replica Shouldn't it have Thuya burl and not snakewood?

original mannocks were avaliable in both.
