Yeah it is a lot better than Talisman at the moment...

Would love to try MW super tips too once since people rave about that too a lot
Whoever called snooker 'chess with balls' was rude, but right

I try hard, play hard and dont always succeed, at first.!!!!:snooker:

How do they compare for hardness to a Kamui M mate ?

Would say they are harder muck , seem harder than kamui mh both black and tan , dont know if they soften a bit when settled .

Recieved my tip in the post this morning. Fitted it to my cue earlier on today, no problem to fit apart from being a little awkard to trim, I actually snapped a scalpel blade while cutting the excess from the tip, but finished the job with a Stanley knife so no real hassle. I was slightly worried as I'm not the biggest fan of hard tips, and judging by the fitting, I was expecting the tip to be similar to a pro granite. Got on the table today and I can confidently say that it is one of the best tips I've played with from the off, no bedding in required at all. The tip IMO is comparable to a medium talisman or a MH kamui, I found the tip to grip the white very well and took chalk easily enough.
I recently had my cue fitted with a blackspin ferrule, and I was a little nervous about re-tipping it to say the least, but I'm really happy that I did after today. Overall I'd say its a very nice laminated tip for the price, and going by my results with the tip today, I'd happily move it into my top three favourite laminated tips, personally.

Cheers for the tip Bill, I hope the next three are as good as this one.

My tip came today many thanks Bill.

Fitted it up not too difficult, pretty hard tip compared to some other laminated tips, but the chalk retention is good and plays consistent from the off. Makes quite a hard sound upon contact which took a little getting used to but after an hour or so dont notice that so much (whether its bedded in or just used to the sound) overall a very nice laminated tip if you like a harder tip then there definatelyy worth a go especailly as they wont cost the earth (even if you dont get them free there still only £2 odd each!)

Tried mine and really like it, needs to be roughed up occasionally to take chalk but not had a single miscue yet! Haven't been able to leave feedback Bill, think there's something wrong with the system!

agree with you about roughing the tip, i use a tip pik and it works fine, the best thing for me is no mis-cues.

Good advice; treat a lammy gently, it's not a single piece of leather. Treat it badly and it's bound to fall apart.
Harder than you think is a beautiful thing.
