  • Low-end Cue

Hello, I'm a complete noob to played snooker, so I'm asking for your opinion.
Of these 2 low end snooker cues, which of them you'll probably advise?

    Thanks

Is that the only choice you have ? Are there no cues for sale in the club where you live ?

Better to try out a club cue where you are going to play, and buy the one that feels the best.

If the 2 cues linked are only choice you have, and you won't know how either of them will play, just

    toss a coin.

Or consider a 3 - way coin toss with this as well :-

Go for 3rd option. :snooker: ( unless the splices are painted on ).

Thank you for your time. I'll try to look on amazon to see if there are some new deals, maybe I can get something better.

EDIT: Something like this maybe: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Handmade-Ros...708138&sr=1-11

Chinese stuff I suppose, but seems acceptable.

I have a 3/4 cue craft cue which is in immaculate condition, hand spliced ebony and ash shaft, fitted with cue craft quick release joint. oil finished and all round a much better buy than these.

£140 brand new and that is not as good a condition as the cue has been expertly refinished and fitted with a good tip, The shaft is silky smooth.

I am after £90 plus delivery

Checking it out, on amazon it says:

                Exotic Wood
                Ebony Butt
                Hand Made Splices
                Selected Enhanced Grain Ash Shaft

Don't really know if it's painted though.

EDIT: It should not be painted as it says Ebony Front Splice
