A fella called Keith Williams (Northern Ireland), I said to him would every 2-3 months be the norm for re-application, but he said once weekly is what he'd recommend, but that sounds normal to me what you suggest...Don't let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning...

Oiling a cue once a week is bonkers!!
And oiling a cue using the method you described above is a sure fire way to completely ruin your cue by turning it in to a sticky mess.Last edited by Gerry Armstrong; 21 July 2012, 07:13 PM.

Just keep clean and wipe with dry cloth.
If u choose to oil it then i would say once a year would be more than enough

p.s. any natural seed oil is good, I use sunflower, as it's lighter than linseed and less sticky. It's even easier to apply and dries faster. And it's in every kitchen, so no special purchase necessary.Harder than you think is a beautiful thing.
