    Trevor

Pls do reply me, i have sent you quite a few emails without any reply, may i know what is going on?

You have confirmed to me received 940pounds for 2 cues at 25th April 2012, and you have told me cues will be despatched within 10days at that time. now 3 months past without any reply. and we have sent you quite a few emails, can you explain what is going on here?

and i can see you are able to access to the internet and being clinical about cues for forum members, why don't you reply my email?

I know you are busy, very busy, but from my recent cue ordering experiences with Mike Wooldrige, Richy Macdonald, they both reply my email with good customer service. at least i can feel safe about my cue ordering. that is why i post here to get your attention maybe.

    Regards
    charles

eek! :uncomfortableness: I thought there was a year long wait for a TW, but some get one in two weeks? Are there two lists? Honest question, not a wind up.

Trevor only asks for the full payment just before the cue is ready. So presumably the orders were made a long time ago.

This is starting to get very smelly. You can't get a TW for love or money apparently, because the waiting list is like 12 months plus. The buyer is promised one in two weeks. If that is credible, it means some customers cues are being made up fast, and others (the less favoured customers) have to wait a long time. Then there is the resale of TW cues on here and ebay at big mark up prices; cues that have hardly been played with. Now, I'm not saying this is a true explanation; but it is plausible. Maybe some customers are more favoured and can get cues made up pronto; they're on the A list. And perhaps, because of this, they sell those cues on to make a tidy profit? And because they're trading cues so much, the B list people have to wait a long time because they A list traders come first? It's strange, the availability of cues from some makers, very strange. How come individual customers wait so long and some folk we know on here and ebay seem to be able to trade multiple cues? If the queue applied to them, that would be impossible.

Just to clarify, and to put a stop to all the speculation.

Yeh, I shot JFK, faked the moon landings, and have Elvis living in my spare room, he ain't dead at all.

Christ almighty, there are spectacular numpties alive and well on this forum.

As it happens, I have contacted the OP, admittedly, very late.

There is no secret to getting a cue finished earlier either. One cue was bought which was a spare, already made and pretty much ready The other cue, which was roughly part made and spare, was one I informed him could be finished to his specs. It's often these cues (spare or cancelled / amended orders) which become available and are sometimes sold onto people who may well try them, or just sell them on. Once any cue has been paid for and has left me, it's not for me to specify what happens to them. They can be used, sold or even sailed down the nearest river, it's not really my business then. More often than not, any available cues are not offered to anyone, but are cues which get sold to people who enquire if I have anything at a particular time.

There are no A / B lists, although "some" people will get preferential treatment. This is very very rare and is usually players who use their cues for a living.

Hope that's clear enough, but if not, fire away.

No PS, it's not like that. Having had a couple of cues from Trevor... both have followed the same pattern. Place your order and wait at least 6 months ( tho mileage can vary ).

Have you given any thought about using his rent to subsidise your prices? ( Sorry, had to.. )

If that's what is required to get prices down Simon, there are a few out there who maybe need to take in more than one lodger.

                    Wouldn't you agree.?
