Where are our cues Trevor?

I had a few cues of Trevor and have been very happy with with all my dealings with him including him responding to my emails. But i have seen many such threads complaining about his customer service. IMO he should pay some to answer his email's, assuming he is so busy producing cue's then he must be making money? or are his margin's too tight to afford even a part time worker. maybe an apprentice would be a good idea and part of his job could be to answer emails, post cues out and make coffee?

I have a suspicion that this order was altered many times by the customer and also he had a very specific chevron pattern required which makes the order very difficult to finish until the customer approves the shaft. Probably the addition of 3 more cues to the order didn't help too much either and I wonder if any of the specs were changed mid-stream?

I can't understand why someone should wait decades for a cue and waste so much time, there so many top quality cues available in stock why not try them out and pick one that suits you.
Any well finished handmade cue which has the right rigidity and density to play all shots should be as good as any cue.
It's better to try out few cues and pick one that suits you rather then wait for an year or more for the cue to be made and in some cases people can't get used to them at all and sell them.Nothing worse then that.Harder than you think is a beautiful thing.

You'll save yourself a great deal of time, and a probably a load money to boot.
I have spent a lot of money to get to this stage in hind sight I would have gone down partical's route.

Some interesting responses.
The OP has every right to feel a little aggravated with me, and that's fine, I understand it. As he states later, I have been in touch, and he should have a delivery tomorrow. Hopefully all will be ok, but if not, we will look at that then.
Kenny, I am extremely sorry for the incredibly long wait you have had for the cue sent to me, and I humbly apologise. There is nothing wrong with the cue, the shipping or anything else, apart from the fact that I have done the work, packed it up and forgotten to send it (a few times actually, which makes it worse) I am very very sorry and have no excuses. I will get it away for you tomorrow, and, will refund the payment you made for this work to be carried out.
Will email you tomorrow and we can deal with that.
Thanks to all who have shown a little support for me, I appreciate it, even though I may not fully deserve it in this case.

Even if Trevor has 200 orders on the go, it woud take bugger all time to send them all an email a month with a status update - no excuses, its pure lazyness, he's not working 24 hours a day.
A fair point to some degree and I am not going to argue with it.
However, your reply here, and the tone of it, perhaps says as much about you as it does about me, especially when it's taken into consideration that those with genuine issues outstanding with me have made their points so clearly.
Still, you are entitled to your view as much as anyone else, and that's fine with me.

Pete, just one thing I'd like to mention about this post.
It does contain a rather massive contradiction in the very first line.
Knowing what you want in a cue shaft will NEVER ensure you get the final product to perform as you want, no matter how specific you are about the specs.

Thanks for all the cues you made for me the first one was a cracking cue and I should have never have sold it. I was technically flawed at the time and no matter what cue I had I would have play ****.
