Hi all,
Last weekend, I had a game with a friend and I placed my cue at the edge of the pocket and headed to the toilet. I know I shouldn't do this but as it was urgent and the game was still in play, I didn't place it on the table. After I walked off, my cue dropped onto the floor. I then picked it up and proceeded to the toilet. After a few pots, I wiped the cue and realized that there's a small chip off the middle of my cue. I used wire wool on it as I had it in my case but it didn't really help much. It ain't affecting me much since its in the middle of the cue.
What I would like to ask is, since I used wire wool on my cue, I believe I got rid of the varnish/finish on my cue. Should I apply cue oil onto it and after that polish to have a finish on it?
