Why were you waiting for me to post............??????

You don't know me ? and how can you respect my views when you are a new member ?

Anyway.........looks a decent cue but don't think your mate will get anywhere near what he thinks it's worth .

Looks like a fake to me!!!! The badge looks like it has been crudely glued on, unless its a bad picture. I also haven't seen that type of badge before!

Personally I think the cue is genuine it's just a very old 1, there is even a cue that looks identical in the Hunt & o'byrne brochure. But that being said something seems fishy here, how can CALE1 know that Neil taperell knows his cues if he is a new member? Why is he charging fedia prices? Maybe this guy is another banned member? Who knows!! IMO the cue seems genuine but the new member/seller doesn't!

                    http://www.thesnookerforum.com/board...-Byrne-Catalog

Seems ok to me if you compare it to the link to the Catalogue .

Never seen one like this . Normally only see the plain ebony one's .

I like the thicker veneer on it .

Looks incredible for a cue that's 25 years plus old .

Thanks rob s the cue is a H & O, i have been a guest user for some time before joining (hard at times not reading all the post if at all) and some people just made more sense to me in their postings.I am not a banned member, the seller thanks all that posted and will offer the cue ebay worldwide. If you like the cue then bid,if like les147 you think its fake then do not.

                      Regards

                        Neil

Seller tells me cue made at southwark bridge rd showroom, he does not remember a shopping center. He thinks before that address in catalogue.

I only used the catalogue to reference the style / type of cue and the badge .

They moved to Elephant and Castle afterwards i believe .

The seller thinks thats right too neil, the only way he dates it is pre 84 because he says that the cue was made while still living with parents.Moved out in 84.
