        Pics of the cue as it stands now









        Still looks nice but doesn't catch your eye as much as the last 4 cocobolo splices did.

                Lower splices were planed down then new wood spliced over the top of it. Not sure if the top spices would need to be redone or not.

                            According to trevor he wanted a bigger tip size so he had to remove a piece of the top of the cue and extend the butt when meant the original cocobolo had to go.

                              I'm leaning towards the second one. The first one looked out of this world at first glance whereas the second one is a bit more subtle, with more patterns and shades to appreciate. In fact, I stared much longer at the 2nd one than the first.

                              I have a thing for wood, especially grainy ones... Could be in the blood. My Aged P does too and so did his.
