Really nice looking cue Trevor, I'm sure John will be happy with it. Cocobolo is beautifull, probably my favorite for cues, smells nice too lol

On Eurosport now for those who have it and Higgins looks to be playing pretty well with it. Missed a couple of balls a bit thick, mainly over distance but seems to be potting well with it. It sounds lovely, a very crisp sounding hit, a bit how Neil Robertson's cue sounds when he plays. Looks to taper down quite narrow along the bridge down to the tip, narrower than his last cue?
Joe Johnson on commentary said that Higgins told him he felt that his old cue had come to the end of its life! Do cues really have a life span where they don't play as well or lose their spring feel? Seemed such a strange thing for a player to say considering the likes of Matthew Stevens and Shaun Murphy have had their cues since they were kids.Last edited by cueman; 24 August 2012, 09:51 AM.

Congratulations to TW for having such a high profile customer (even if I can't stand Higgins for what he did). TW deserves every success for making his cues from scratch, and doing so honestly, and properly. Not every so called British cue maker does. Glad to see someone who puts in the graft getting the rewards.Harder than you think is a beautiful thing.

Dont think Trev will be shouting from the roof tops like other makers have done , even if John wins a world title with one of his cues , would be nice to hear John mentioning it though , not that Trev may be bothered but it would be nice .

There are more great cue makers like him on TSF of course, people who do it for love first, money second.Last edited by Particle Physics; 24 August 2012, 06:54 PM.Harder than you think is a beautiful thing.
