Peradon accepted warranty this first cue and after 2 month I got a new. Maybe it's funny but I played hmm 5 or 6 times and problem appears again (not too hard like first). Additionally when I wanted remove mini-butt, screw stay on it make hole on butt. Now I got third cue and at start I see tiny line in the same place like other two. Now I have question for people who have Peradon King (or different model) or I would ask you all. Every hand made cue has this problem? Only mine? Only peradon? I don't know what to think about this firm.

Look's like a real bad glue line not so much a crack, where they have tried to glue the 2nd splice onto of the 1st. Be interested to know what glue Peradon is using in his cues?

As for the cue issue, it's tricky to have much of an opinion without seeing and holding it. Having said that, there is no way that ANY cue should be sold without a finish, although if this cue was like that, it would be the first Peradon cue I've seen like that.
sorry mate but you are wrong - i have an alloy case here with an off set handle!

I have a disability, I bought the case specifically because it's a soft case and asked before hand if it was suitable for my needs. They told me it's perfectly fine and you can use the handle to carry it.

Since the case drags on the floor, the case is useless to me.
Who want's to walk with a case upright, dragging on the floor, whilst your cue gets smacked against the pavement? [I]That is why the case is "unusable" to me. It may be fine for you, but not for me.
nullsys ... I hope you don't mind me asking but what is your disability? I don't mean any lack of respect to you but I'm struggling to understand how you can play snooker but are unable to carry an imbalanced case to the snooker hall ...

          Hi DandyA,
I'm sorry but I'm not comfortable doing this. I really hope you understand. I know some people from my club visit this forum and I like my privacy.

It's a condition that has resulted in upper body, and hand strength issues.
Let me just say: Walking 3 miles to play snooker whilst trying to carry a case, is very different to holding a 18oz cue balanced between two hands on and off for an hour

But I'm having a strap put on the case, it solves the issue. Which is great!
          Thanks again
          Long days and pleasant nights.

that's cool nullsys, I appreciate your wish and wasn't trying to pry, the very best of luck to you ...

whilst different I'm sure, I am diagnosed with arthritis so I do understand to some extent ... walking about a mile to the snooker hall is a bit of a pain ... although strangely, the standard cueing position is one of the more comfortable positions I can adopt ...

I have received a cue from a client who wants the original coating removing and have a wax finish applied.
It is a one piece peradon cue, that was bought through a snooker club.
Problem is upon removing the top coat, there is some very obvious fillings in the ebony butt, and these stand out massively and will show up in any finish that I apply.
I have contacted Peradon, but they are saying that this is not normal and that also this is not a standard cue!
i asked them what this means, and they came back with that all of there cues have a name designating the specific cue on the name plate. Is this true? have all peradon cues always had this? if any one can either tell me what the cue is, or if they know of different with regards to the name plates.
the cue also looked as though it was painted under the top coat so as to make the ebony (which is the browner version) look dark black.
please help as it is supposed to be a present for the clients daughter this weekend.
first two photos show the poor filling._MG_0884.jpg_MG_0885.jpg_MG_0886.jpg_MG_0897.jpg

odd looking cue is it hand spliced? i guess you need to mix a better filler.

i am guessing that it is hand spliced. and ADR147 I haven't applied the filler, that is what was found under the top coat that was originally on the cue. Can you recommend a way of filling it better?

Blimey, not seen one of those for many a year, remember a local pool player having one like that.
                        Do you know the manufacturer/retailer?

I understand nobody has problem like me? It's only in my cue and no other cue has that "thing"?
