yes nice to see andy back, few people know more about cues than he does. I have to say andy is a really great guy and a great cue maker - that cue though is way too cheap, i think he has not worked out the change in prices since he stopped making cues. he will soon learn though when he gets the bill for his ebony and ebay fees!
with his recent activity on TSF I thought it would not be too long before we saw some new creations.
I always liked his badge.
Could do with a few more important details, such as the cue length and weight at least
Great to see.
Andy under priced that cue...some of his older cues fetch £300+ a bargain
Yeah but Andy never sold them at that price and what I think made Andy popular was that he charged a realistic or fair amount for his cues, he wasn't purely out to make cues just to make money and then up his prices. Too many cue makers now have been jumping on the bandwagon, starting their prices realistically and then suddenly charging prices that the bigger name cue makers do.
Andy's cues were always around the £120 mark back when he was making them regularly. He only ever did ebony or rosewood butts with the thick maple veneer, though I'm sure he made cues to spec for those that asked.
Cueman some of Andys first cues had Wenge as the butt material , although he did say it was difficult to work with ,so it was probably a short " trial " period only.
