I doubt John purely works on any individual cue all on his own. John oversees all the cues though and knows what cues are at what stage of manufacture and also has strict standards of quality control over the cues produced under his roof. His job is more of making sure the player gets what he/she wants, he's very much involved in the consultancy/sales side of things and takes full responsibility for every cue that leaves the shop.

If you want guarantees that a single cue maker has made the cue that you want then I'd suggest your only option is Trevor, Dave Coutts or Robin Cook as they are the only one man bands, along with the lesser experienced guys on here such as Raymo (Exquisite) or Jason Owen (cue guru) for example.

You're right, he does give cues to top pros. He gets pictures with the players and they get put on the website. It's good marketing.
Harder than you think is a beautiful thing.

first and for-most, do they play well over all?
is his shaft quality to the stadard that he insists they are on his website?
