Trev is consistently consistent , his cues are a work of art .

I hear what you're trying to say PP, but MW makes some cracking cues also and far more cuemakers (which I haven't mentioned ), but speaking as I find, I'm well happy with the TW's I've managed to collect over the last couple of years.

A few of you might be aware that I recently put an order in for a JPU cue and I have been slated for this by some members. The truth is I'm buying this cue as an investment If when I have a few shots it turns out I like it I'll play with it. But my intention is to store the cue for 5 to 10 years then sell it. If I was buying a new cue to play with I would go to Trevor as there is no difference in the standard and the price is much better.

I have just ordered a parris special cue. I too have fingers crossed it will be a good one. If not, I'm hoping my Asian friends across the border will keep their interest. The price is likely to go up in the long run as nice wood starts to run low is my argument.

Whichever cues suits you best, there is no such thing as best or better cue, I thought we'd discussed this before and that is the real answer.

True, but I think what they are getting at is the quality of the work rather than the playability of the cue. To which I would say they are on a par.

I don't really see that big a problem paying more for brand name or good reputation. People pay over the good for Mercedes etc when a cheaper Bmw maybe a better car. Or people go for more expensive Chanel over better made Louis Vuitton. I think this can be observed in all aspects of life so why be slated for choosing a John Parris over a Trevor White???

If you really want a Trev, I'd get one soon, because I really believe he's going to be the next John Parris. Prices will only go in one direction as his fame grows.
Harder than you think is a beautiful thing.

You finally settling on a Trevor White cue Jerry? The hardest thing is trying to nail down your specs or "knowing" what they really are.

No way are they on par bud....

Johns cues don't come close to Trevs work, maybe the odd one or 2 now and then are on par but on par consistently, NARRRRRRR.....def not.

The CONSISTENCY of work from john just int the same as the consistency of trev, that's what you get having a 'workforce' and more than one person working on cues i guess....

                              Trev over john EVERYTIME.

Are you saying that your theory of Trev having a garden shed full of Oompa-Loompas doing his work, no longer stands up?
