  • Riley Elegance cues?

    Hello fellow forum members,

I was wondering, could anyone share some knowledge with me about Rileys new line of cues called the "Elegance" cues?

I was looking for a new cue at the only reseller of snooker and billiard cues here in the mighty country of Finland, where one piece cue cases aren't even sold, because the only one piece cues here are pub cues...and the salesman was eager to present to me a new cue that had just arrived, the Riley Elegance, that is..

It apparently has uses some "technology" known from pool, which enables you to for example put very much side on the cue ball, but still hit the object ball straight, for the deflection is minimal in the cue.

That leads me to the question: does anybody happen to own a cue like this? Is the quality of materials used high, and to a how high degree is the cue hand/machine made? (my own impression of the cue would probably be of no value, since I'm fairly new to snooker, and haven't got the chance to try any purely hand made cues..)

The idea of a cue that minimizes deflection is probably not even an option for most people on this forum, since you all seem to be very talented at the game and have years of experience!

    Looking forward to your replies

    Cheers

    Joel

    Nevermind this....

I think the cue is the same sort of marketing propaganda as the acuerate cues, low quality cues with no attention to detail whatsoever..
