Bennets Cues. Anyone got an opinion of them?

I've just bought a handmade cue from Bennets Direct.

I got it from Amazon.co.uk for £39.99.

I'm pretty pleased with it. Tried it out today. It felt like a quality cue but I've I don't know much about cues and was wondering what other more experienced cue-ist thought.

Glad you like the cue, thats the main thing.

Just to let you know, this cue is a chinese cue and all over ebay. Althought it is hand spliced, it will be very much machine made.

Thanks. I thought it might be made in the UK but I see on the butt that it says Robin Scott. A quick search reveals its origins.

I use a cheap chinese cue bought off ebay for £29 i really like it, but i have nothing to compare it to, have you ever had an expensive cue to compare with this one or is it your first cue?

I've had a few cues over the years but nothing expensive.

This feels like the best quality cue I've ever used. It certainly looks and feels the part and is straight with a nice weight to it.

I think thats all that matters, the really expensive cues will have hand picked shafts and very nice splices on them made by proper crafts men i must admit some of the TW cues i have seen on here look fantastic and you can see the quality in them(in fact in all the hand made cues on here ) but for my standard smooth and straight is all i need lol.

Bennets Cues. Anyone got an opinion of them?

I've had cheap chinese eBay cues as well as a JP superior cue.... Also craftsman cues.. The cue doesn't make a player! I've settled on a custom Cue Craft cue that was modified by Dave coutts and repaired by Andy Travis when I snapped it! I will only treat myself to expensive 'cue porn' when I've got a **** load of spare cash again! I've played good and bad with all my cues!
