to be clear, this particular side of the business is a no frills 'pimp my cue' service.
the cue has nothing to do with us, it is bought as it is and then made to feel and play nice.
there is no pretence or rebranding involved.
just creating a really nice feeling, good playing cue, that would otherwise not be possible if bought in their original state as the manufacturers deliver them.
it's pocket money for gav. a little sideline that benefits the budget conscious.

these are random cues picked up from ebay, every now and then, tarted up and sold at around £50-£60.
they're not made out to be anything more than that.
they're not competition for higher quality hand made cues.
there is no long term motive or ambition.
they are for people who don't want to spend more than 50 odd quid on a 'stick'.
but instead of just buying a real sh*tty cue, they'll actually get one that feels nice to play with.

judging by the quality of work i usually see on repair/alteration cues that pass through the workshop, these will easily match/beat so called 'top' cues from well known names.
but i'm not taking any pre-orders or requests on anything gav produces.
this will be a totally pressure free sideline.
whatever he makes will be posted here, in my shop, and possibly on ebay.
not sure yet, but i may do this on a best offer wins basis.
we'll see. he hasn't even started one yet...
so, your wish of owning the first one may come true. but you have to like what you see first, and then maybe keep your fingers crossed that your offer is the highest...:snooker:
