I got an email alert to a new listing of a Parris Cue on eBay.

In the narrative, the explanation for sale is that his cue was stolen early Oct so he bought an exact replica from JP. Now, having spoken with JP before I placed my order last week, I know that the waiting list is about 8 weeks for the more standard cues and over a year for the Ultimate.
He did tell me that I could drop in and he has a number of cues on the rack to try and I could buy one of them there and then or arrange for one to be altered to my spec. Assuming that the seller walked in off the street and bought a rack cue (lucky to have one identical to his stolen cue!) then there would not be a need for 2 receipts from JP. If he paid a deposit whilst alterations were made to his spec then it is unusual for the second receipt for the balance payment to be the next consecutive receipt issued by JP!
I'm sure that this is a genuine sale but my (overly) suspicious mind would probably steer me away from bidding if I was still in the market. It would help if the dates on the 2 receipts were more legible. If they are a short few days apart then it is feasible that there were no other cash sales from the shop in that timeframe.
Obviously a bit bored this lunchtime!!!
