  • Mastercue vs Dunns Cues

Any opinions on this? They look similarly priced and I don't have access to a store to try them out. I will be ordering online so your thoughts will be helpful.

Haven't tried any Dunns Cue but I'm sure Mastercue is of best value.

Tried both, prefer the hit from Master but it could be bias as I have been using Master for longer period of time.

They both get good reviews on here, the good thing is they shouldn't be hard to sell on if you don't get on with it...

Probably have to sell at huge discount though. They don't retain their value as well as compared to the more established English cues.

I've got a dunns "Ronnie" cue and my mate has a master cue same model....they are absolutely identical, I stress identical!! Splices, splice length etc.

My understanding is that Mastercue use an oil finish, Dunns use something else? I stand to be corrected but this is bottom of the line for me. There's no way I'm spending more than 100 quid again for something I'll need to refinish.

I think the way the current market is if you are buying a brand that is not as sought after as the more established ones then you,re going to lose money on the re sale thats if you can sell in the first place . Its getting hard to sell cues now and even the best makes seem to be losing a bit of value .

I think they'd do better than Dunns though.
