In all honesty I tried one of ur legend last week and I have mixed feelings. It's a 3/4 54 inch cue.

The difference was very distinct but I cannot conclude if it is a good or bad thing.

It had a very metallic feel to it. It felt it more from the joint rather then the ferrule.

Does not make a big difference But hit was definitely more crisp if hit properly.

Guess it was more down to timing.
54"? Whose cue is that? Maybe felt different cos so short.

My cues do not feel metallic. Loose tip maybe or something wrong. In which case they need to contact me.

Not self proclaimed. Do your homework and you'll find it was said in jest by someone on here. I carried it on cos it was funny. Wouldn't expect you to get that.

No. In fact just said in other thread that I personally do not like that idea.

Of course not? In jest would not expect an higher being to see through that.

Was a stock legend, originally 1pc but requested to convert to 3/4 during purchase

I conclude that if the cue was built in the first place with 54 inches in mind, then this would have been different rather then converting from an ready available stock 58 inch

Take it as a compliment Mike, then when your patent comes through sue them lol.

That's Dave Coutts Supreme cues been ripped off by Peradon lately and now Stamford ripping off Mike Wooldridge, wonder who and what will be next to be ripped off!

I have just bought a black legend from MW - the original black spin!

Hope to see it soon, at my age not many playing days left.

Stop trying to be clever, it's not working for you.

Let me tell you what I see:

                You're an idiot.

Well I must say this move by Paul does look like a bit of an idea tax. Any chance of it being a coincidence? The idea of it being new technology rather than a black ferrule would suggest not.

                    Mike,

I hope your patent [eventually] will be successful. It's just plain wrong that ppl can get away with this kind of theft ( or any kind of theft I guess ).

                    Keep those awesome cues flowing.

                      Eh?

Don't get all feisty now sister.

Those were my honest opinion after playing a day with it.

I didn't know honest, neutral and negative remarks were shunned upon here.

I guess only positive remarks are allowed on your products.

I rest my case and don't bother replying as I won't.

Wouldn't want someone of your status to look any more childish behaving unprofessionally by calling others "idiot"

How is it theft? Mike has a patent pending which could take years. Do you have evidence that Stamford is using the same ferrule system as Mike does? It could be presumed that Mike copied Stamford's idea??? You should get some concrete facts, before accusing someone of theft. BTW, I'm not saying MW is copying the idea from Stamford, it was just an example of people presuming things without an once of evidence. The bad thing about this is how to distinguish Mike's blackspin from Stamford Zenith ferrule? By shades of black???

unprofessional? i couldn't give flying f*ck what you think.

we have no professional relationship so i will tell you what i think of you personally based on the snidey comments you continue to make on this forum.

so i stand by my original comment. you're an idiot.

nobody asked for your opinion on a cue that does not belong to you.

but while we're on the subject of asking, i asked whose cue it was, which you chose not to answer.

i also said my cues do not sound metallic and that it could be loose or tip or something wrong.

in either case they should contact me so i can sort it out for them.

i suggest you pass this message to them so i can help THEM instead of YOU trying to be clever and generally p*ssing me off.

                            it is copyright theft.

everyone knows i've doing this for months.

Stamford is using the same ferrule (core system) as yours? If that is you have a case.

Mike , how straight forward would it be to change an original brass ferrule back to brass after one of yours have been fitted .
