A Matthew Stevens/John Higgins style, but with Marblewood/Serpentwood for the bottom splices. If you follow the link, it shows the style, a cue using the Marblewood/Serpentwood (Not sure which is the most commonly used name ?) and the wood in planks.

                        More photos added.

Picked it up this morning and had a knock with it, it is definitely a keeper. First impressions have been great, really well balanced, trademark TW finish - smooth as a baby's...

The contrast between the ebony and splices looks great.

I love the cue already, but think I may have made an error with the round butt - decided on it as I thought it would loosen my grip (Which it did this morning), but the down side is that lining up the chevrons on the shaft does get detract from my concentration, I will give it a while to see if I can adapt. Clearly this is down to me and in no way detracts from the fantastic workmanship of Trevor.

Selected Ash shaft, Ebony butt with 4 lower splices of Marblewood/Serpentwood (whichever is the most commonly used names).

                        58 Inch
                        8.5mm tip
                        29mm butt
                        18oz
                        17 inch BP

Never heard of the splice timber before . Very nice .

Round butt as well ....i spin mine in my hand when i get down onto the shot . Slows me up. Which is a good thing for me .

Hope you get used to it .
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

I think about 8 months, maybe a shade quicker.
