Thanks guys. I try my best to get nice ash. although some might not be as nice as others, I think playability is more important than looks but a combination if both is great when it can be achieved.
For those of you looking at Richy's cues and wondering whether or not to get one. I really am happy with mine. It plays so very well and feels good to the hit.
Those familiar with my cue contest thread will know that I am sizing up all the makes to the same specs. I only have two of the 6/7 on order. Mac cue and Tony Glover.
Richy's cue is superior to my Glover cue in terms of feel. To be honest, that's all I care about and so should you. For close to half the price, I feel I'm laughing.
