Found this up my loft when i moved into my property, Never seen a cue with a wooden joint before. Can anyone tell me when they stopped making them like this or if they are still making them. Cheers

My old cue originally had a wood screw joint, not exactly the same as this one - slightly longer I think and only had a thin rosewood collar not the thick white (fibre?) one here.
I have no idea what make it is, no badge or anything.
It did eventually crack at the internal join of the screw and the tip-end-shaft. This was fixed by John Parris and was great for a few more years but it did go very bad and JP replaced it with a brass joint.
I got this cue back in the mid-80s when it was brand new and I played with it for snooker and pool (break-off shots what broke it ) up till 2010/2011.
      Up the TSF! :snooker:

They worth anything? It looks brand new. one or slight defects around the back of the cue at the bottom and thats about it. I personally aint going to use it, so no need to keep it.
