  • Thinking of a new cue?

Hi TSF, I've been playing Snooker and English pool with my £30 BCE cue for a while now, but am really starting to get into them both and am thinking of a new, 3/4 jointed cue anywhere in the range of £100 - £150. I was thinking of maybe some Peradon models, such as the Ascot, Warwick etc, or is there any other suggestions from experience or anything? Trouble is, I live in oxfordshire and there is literally no places which sell 'GOOD' cues, so i cant really try it in person, if you see what I am saying.

    Thanks.

I'd recommend emailing ADR147 with your requirements and price range to see what he can offer, he deals in cues and has an extremely good reputation on this forum, I've been a member here for a good few years and never heard a bad word said about him, quite the opposite in fact ...

his email is adr147@hotmail.com ... mention that you found out about him on TSF and he'll probably give you a little extra discount heck, I'm not sure but he may be able to sell you the Peradon you are looking at cheaper than you can buy it direct ...

you don't have to buy from him but seeing what he has available for you would be a good start, in my opinion ...

I won't mention any other brands as I'm not an expert and I simply consider cues as frustrating sticks of wood that make me miss easy pots

oh, and I'm not on commission, just happy to give a plug to probably the best UK cue dealer (where's that 12 pack of Carlsberg you promised me ADR?) lol ...
