Im looking to buy my dad a new cue in the £70-100 range,i was looking at Mastercue,Dunns,Phoneix etc.Would anyone have any advice which cue to buy in this price range.

You'd get a good quality machine spliced cue for that money, all that you've listed get very good feedback, Mastercue is prob what i personally would opt for having experience using their cues, and seeing the quality first hand...Don't let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning...

You can't go wrong value-wise with these sort of Chinese/HK sets off eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TOP-57-ZEB...item256828c7ea
They are cracking value as a full kit including postage and are well made in standard specs which should suit all standard players, if he's above standard level you should ask him what he's after. There's tons of 'em on eBay and plenty of choice within your budget, I've bought two for people before and they were both happy.
