  • Advice needed

Hi all, I'm looking for a cue for my friend. I have an Andy Travis which i love and he was hoping for one too but unfortunately Andy doesn't have any blue veneers. My friend is after a
    57" Ash 3/4
    18 oz.
    9.75 tip
Ebony butt with 4 maple splices with thick light blue veneers

He was looking to try and get this for around £200, optimistic i know but that's what he wants.

Has anyone got any suggestions? Maybe some of the new cue makers? Raymond? Jim etc?

You can get me on AlexRichardsonGolfCoaching@gmail.com

    Thanks guys

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MASTER-CUE...item337dd474d0 might be your best bet for under £200, maybe something close enough in their collections

Did think of mastercue, he would go up to £250 if need be, he'd rather have something made exactly to his spec mentioned above earlier if possible though

Are blue veneers really that important? £200 could get you a lovely playing cue if you're not too picky on design features.

It's his first proper cue, he's using a chinese ebay cue at the minute that i refinished for him but at about 20oz it's a seal club and he struggles with touch shots. I know it's idealistic but he wants it to be a 'cue for life' so he wants what he wants. Andy does have light green veneers which he is considering. He has his heart set on a travis cue as he's seen how good the finish is on mine, does anyone know what tthe finish is like on a craftsman?

Pics are not very good though , the cue does not have a sd butt joint .

I'll see if I can make any light blue veneers and if I can, I could do a cue for your friend but would be nearer £250. Let me know if interested.
