Re-Tipping question

Hi, I just have a question regarding the re-tipping of my cue. With a 9.5mm ferrule, should I re-tip using a 10mm tip or use an 11mm tip? I'm only asking as I'm thinking by using the 11mm I will have more of an overlap which may make it easier to cut the tip to ferrule size. I would be grateful for any feedback, thanks.

I use 11mm myself, then it doesnt matter if its not dead centre. 10mm doesnt give much room for error. Much easier to trim a little more!

Thanks for the advice. I think I will try re-tipping with an 11mm as I always find it hard to put the 10mm tips on dead centre.
