A lot of people don't realize the amount of time and effort that goes into making cues. The investment is never ending and the pressure to finish jobs on time etc is constant. I have the utmost respect for anyone who even has a go at it, never mind the guys who do it full time.
I will always just treat it as a hobby, this was a deliberate decision from day one. The pressure to do top work and to do it within a certain time scale is still there but at least when it gets a bit too much, you can take a step back and rest.
