  • Two snookers cues - not sure what I have - information appreciated

    Hi there,
I was left two snooker cues by my late dad - dont know much about them - will describe as best I can as I cannot find how to add pictures to the thread - would email pictures if someone would like to see - my email address is fergalgalvin@hotmail.com
First cue - black butt with green curved line with a round green plastic button inserted - Burroughs and watts - the mascot cue with a stamped number in the cue 15 1/2

Second cue - not much clue to this as there are no marking on it apart from the letter B stamped in the butt and 16 oz stamped in the cue, looks as old though - a bit fague in afraid - any information would be appreciated.

Hi Jack - the first cue is a 1st ed Burroughes and Watts mascot:

Valuation on the article is still apt despite it being written a long time ago.

          Hi Guys,
Thank you for your time - found out everything I needed - not good news though - the mascot is a lot shorter than it should be 4 inches or so the other a machined cue with little value - to Matty thank you for your offer to buy the mascot but due to the damage I received advice it's only worth about 50 and for that I would like to give to some young man as a starter cue. Thanks again guys for your pleasant responses,
          Kind Regards,
          Fergal.

even at 54" it would be worth more than £50.
