    its a little like petrol

the last lot of ash i bought worked out at £12 a piece and i used less than 20% of it, but this lot worked out at £3.37 a piece and i hope for 75% ?

the cost is not realy the biggest issue, it is finding the ash in the first place that is the most difficult part !

we went through 5 pallets and were pretty luck to have found what we did

cut my ash in to squares earlier on this week, all went through my £180 bandsaw

i can not believe the bandsaw didnt blow up ! but it did make me realize i need a decent one

will leave it settle for the next few months before tapering them slowly

the exotics are ebony lower 2 shelfs, then macassar, olive, ovangkol, cocobolo, rosewood, bubinga and the top shelf has a few different pieces, kingwood, tulip and amboyna !

one day i hope to have 100s of each, but thats way off at the moment

£600 is what i spent on the last top up here (minus the ebony) but ive used a load up making a few blockwork wedges

i hope ive calculated the angles right as ive used up well over £150 worth of wood doing them up ?
