Yeh i seen that. I thought the parris he used was a paragon. I've asked frazz as i think he's bn retipping john's cues for years.

I know parris sent up several cues for John and all supposedly Ultimates which I got too see.
Lets say not very impressive cues.
Mind you John loves a rotten grain where the arrows come back to you.
However this could be one of them specs are right for that period although he now plays with his TW a tad over 57"
these days.

To me it doesnt look like johns but as raymo said he got 3 or 4 made at same time so this could of been one he rejected but to be honest they were not good cues that were sent to him.

They might not have suited Higgins, doesn't necessarily them bad cues does it?

All i meant was they werent very sturdy, as in not too stiff, maybe i worded that wrongly, they would suit some players who prefer a not so stiff shaft. However as i said i dont think that was one of those cues but the best thing to do if interested would be to phone parris with the cue number to verify as am sure he'll keep a record of his ultimate cue customers.

Wee bit whippy on it then, not really interested personally, have a Hunt cue getting work done as its only 5", find a cue that short unplayable

Dominic may have done a new tip for john last night before this event as john mis-cued when practising yesterday while in wales and phoned me to see what could be done with it as he had taken a chunk out of it, i told him best to get one done, but i do johns tips all the time unless of an emergency and i aint there
