If you type in WOODS CUES into Google you will get into woods official site they have a star rating on their cues 3 *** being the best and no stars lower quality. The case is a bit over the top for me I like to keep a low profile.

Stick to the nameplates with three stars on them.

Couldn't agree more with Andy. I've seen each of their cues; woods, woods 2 star & woods 3 star and to be honest the woods 3 star are much better than the rest and are actually very good cues for the money

Thanks or the advice I'm still unsure what to do get a custom made 3*** woods or save like mad and get a second hand jp or ultimately would love a wooldridge but would take a while to save for either of them. Decisions decisions how good are these 3*** woods cues who could u compare them with LP craftsman, peradon or not as good as them ????

Better than peradon IMO not sure about the others as I haven't owned them so it would be a guess

Don't buy a 2nd hand JP cue, they pretty much sell for what they cost new (even though there is next to no waiting time on a standard parris cue), and many you'll see on ebay are of very dubious authenticity...
