Just got some cracking new tips from Andy, thanks again by the way. Any hoo, just had a go at fitting a whopping great 13mm tip using the new blue loctite gel, gives you a little more work time making it easier to get the tip central, well worth the extra £1!

Don't know how to do links but if you search for loctite power easy gel you should find it.

When my last tube of Powerflex super glue gel finished I shot out and picked up a different one that caught my eye - "Repositionable".
And it does a cracking job as well as giving you that little bit longer to get the tip "just-so" before squeezing down with the finger.

I have ordered the Loctite, but wanted to change my tip before tomorrow night, had some of this in the shed so I have used it. Going to wait till tomorrow though till I trim the tip.

LOL i had it left over from when I did a kitchen refit, great for cornice and sorting the ends of the worktops after being cut and putting the finish strip on.

I've got some glue called rocket max from a model shop
Sticks in about 10 seconds, and can cut shape and play with them
straight away. Haven't had one come off (touch wood) I used powerflex
loctite before that which was also pretty good, but I prefer the max
