I'm very satisfied of my current TW cue been using for the last 4years, the reason I made a new one is I'm testing with a shorter length. Hoping this couple inches shorter will help me better control on cue ball.

                mmm... I wouldn't say it's an error.
My current TW were ordered by friend based on his height (56inches length)
Soon the cue arrived, he given up on snooker. I found it really well play even though slightly long for me.
It helps me knocked in my first century too. That's why I decided to make a shorter one hope that would help me improve more.

                Fingers cross

You could of shortened your cue much cheaper
How long is your cue, and how long the new one ??

Beautiful design. Love those wood choices and no crappy coloured venners. I'm very jealous.

                      Current one
                      9.5mm tip
                      56inches
                      17.25oz
                      28.5mm butt

I prefered not to use the local cue maker in Australia to alter it, just in case may ruin the weight balance since there is nothing wrong with it. Persoanlly prefered to keep it as original, so if I don't like the new one then I always can switch back to old one.

                      New one
                      9.5mm tip
                      53inches
                      17.5oz
                      27mm butt

That's right, best option is to make a new one in order to see the best result in difference.
