    Turpin Cues

as I hinted it was his "ex" manager who apparently went round the cue makers asking and when got a cue or two promptly put them on Chinese eBay as "made for Ding" at huge cost
I doubt Ding actually went to any of the makers...
    Up the TSF! :snooker:

If he had he would no doubt be expecting a freebie anyway.

He must have extremely sensitive hands if he can feel a perspex badge, even the edges are completely flush!

They can move sometimes on a new cue...
Mine was flat when I made it but sticks up a little now as the wood has moved just a little but not a big job to get it level again.

I can't feel the badge on my MW cue and thats not got a perspex cover. I have a round butt tw cue and that has the perspex cover, again can't be felt.

Have to keep an eye out for that as never seen one move.

It's more that the wood has more than likely shrunk a little, which as it's a round butt, would pull away little from the edges.
5 minute job to sort it out but got other cues to make, so it can wait..

One big issue with Stamford cues is that they almost have zero online presence. Their Instagram and twitter pages haven't been touched since the middle of last year, they dont have a facebook page either. I emailed them a few months back asking
for a quote and got no response, sent them another tonight so we'll see how that goes.

One of them used to post on here for a very short time, can't recall who it was, was around the time ebdon showed up with one of their cues with the zenith ferrule which sparked a debate about it possibly being a blackspin based cue.

Still no response back from Stamford cues, apparently email is useless.

That's a right pain in the arse if you're reeling off specs of a cue need to get their thumbs out.
