  • Bought a Green Baize cue!

A while ago I started a topic on here to ask which cue I should buy. A couple of people steered me in the direction of GBL cues, I want to thank them for doing this. I started reading older posts about GBL cues and was very impressed with the good reviews.
I contacted Stu and told him what kind of cue I wanted.

The cue I chose is a 3/4 GBL C3, ebony butt with asian snakewood front wedge with triple veneers and ebony overlay. The shaft is a mature ash.

I can't wait for it to arrive. (It has to be shipped to Belgium.)

You have bought as good as it gets mate. If you practice with it and get used to it that's a cue for life. Nothing to fault with those cues. I have over two dozen cue from most major cuemakers and the best by far is the GBL

Wow! That's saying something! I have yet to hear someone say a bad thing about GBL cues.

Can't wait for my package to arrive!

Just visited their website for the first time after reading this post and viewing the photos of that lovely cue. Gave up after 10mts. How complicated is it to view which cues are currently for sale?

May be good cues but the websites terrible to navigate.

Edited to say: Been back and got the hang of it now. Didnt expect cues for sale to be in the forum and didnt expect a forum in a company website if you know what I mean. Very confusing but got the hang of how it works now.

Looks good, hope it plays well for you. From my knowledge he also has a shop and allows people to go in and try before they buy which is quite a rarity when it comes to the cue making world. Heard nothing but good reviews, especially when it comes to customer service.

Didn't used to be like that but you can't blame him really his stock must change so much often the forum is the easiest thing to update.
Was a time he just had pics of each cue in the range he was probably bombarded in those days with people looking for photos of shafts etc.

Was at the shop talking to stu about a custom cue yesterday, he mentioned that he is getting the website changed and is also getting professional pictures taking of the cues that will be for sale in the future as it is so hard to see the quality from a picture
