The screws have obviously been tampered with and I'm not convinced that badge ever belonged to that cue. Folk are bidding on it tho so it will find its value.

Surprised the badge hasn't been written on with a black marker so it can be called a "black plate".

i think the cue was made by eric lewis C1990-92 and the badge has been resolved!

interesting that he has no knowledge of cues (we agree on that!) but he refers to it as an SD joint.......

Maybe i'm wrong but i think the seller Zakier has been flagged on here before selling modified cues, I'm no expert either but he must know himself that only the cue badge is vintage...

Or that he "has very little knowledge of snooker" even though he's been a member of a snooker forum for nearly 18 months

He's been selling for a while on ebay. I was going to buy one of him a few years back but he wanted to much money'i phoned him with an offer to cut out ebay fees but he assured me it would reach the price he was after, it never did though. I think he texted me a while later to say he was relisting it, the guy plays pool in Dianes although iv'e never met him. At the time im sure he was selling a cooper cue aswell and another that had been made for joe johnson.

I bought a Craftsman 3/4 off him a while back, decent price, but the specs were way off what were advertised. In fairness he gave me a refund on it straight away, but clearly him making out he has not sold many cues/has no knowledge pf them is cobblers.
