Violins may take a little bit longer to make but the maestro using either is just as talented ride:

Cue. Not even close. There's a reason a Stradivarius costs hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Oh, and that's a bad miss.

Wonder if he made my cue with it having a fiddleback butt (ok so its Pyinma)

Even a simple tapered ash/maple dowel with a tip glued on and a bit of weight added for balance could potentially serve very well as a cue. Try making a nice-sounding violin as easily! My brother has a couple of old ash house cues with painted butts that play really well.

Apparantly a strad violin changed hands for $20,000,000 and regularly sell for £3-5 million Not bad considering they were made 300 yrs ago with home made tools glues and varnishes !!! Well Guys , lets hope our offspring appreciate all your cue making efforts , lets hope decent cue prices continue to rise !!!

The original question was , what is EASIER to make, so you were right all along.

Some prefer the violins of Giuseppe Guarneri, than Antonio Stradivari, much in the way of Wooldridge vs White
